Independently Working Cook for a Modern Indian Restaurant in Delft

Diya Delft is an Indian restaurant located in Delft. The focus of Diya Delft is to build a bridge between local Dutch society and Indian food. We want to lower the threshold by serving traditional Indian food in a street food way. We are looking for expansion of the restaurant and therefor looking for new employees.
**What will you be doing?**
As an independently working cook you are responsible for contributing to the daily affairs and progress in the kitchen. You provide input and you are creative with regard to the composition and changes of dishes and menus. You ensure a neat workplace and work according to HACCP rules. In addition, you like to work well together in a team. We find it important that the team is lead in a coaching fashion and not in an authoritative way.
You offer our guests constant quality with high quality products and you know how to surprise them with the most unique combinations of dishes. You contribute to a high quality performance and implementation of culinary concept.
**Who are you?**
- You are a positive and hardworking person;
- You preferably have knowledge of the Indian cuisine;
- You have a passion for everything that has to do with Indian food and drinks;
- You are used to working under pressure and have an eye for detail;
- You have an education in cooking at MBO3 level;
- You speak fluent English or Dutch;
- You are commercially inclined. You have a feeling for what sells and what not;
- You are flexible and have a passion for your profession;
- You are strong in collaboration and contribute positively to the team.
