**What you can expect to do in the role**:
Key Responsibilities:
- Review of the risk management procedure sent to the CSSF and ensure that the CSSF requirements are properly documented and in place
- Update of the risk management policy to include the overall risk framework
- Review of the valuation policy and its proper implementation
- Review of the transactions and investors assessment to ensure that it is in line with the fund documentation and applicable laws
- Prepare all the risk management matters for the monthly Conducting Officer meetings in liaison with the Conducting Officer in charge of risk management
- Assistance in the fund declaration to CSSF, pre-marketing and marketing filings to CSSF and in other countries (like UK)
Must-Have Experience / Qualifications:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent
- Experience in Luxembourgish AIFM and in private equity strategies
- He/She will be familiar with the filings to the CSSF via Edesk
- Experience in the setting up of the risk management policy
- Accustomed to review valuation committee minutes and valuation models
- Knowledge of the IPEV guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, any other language is an asset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of the AIFM Law and CSSF Circular 18/698 with focus on risk management
- Good knowledge of the fund (AIF) setup and parties involved;
- Good quantitative analysis background;
- Master degree with specialization in Finance/Risk Management is an advantage
Skills & Behaviours:
- Knowledge of and/or interest in new technologies
- Ability to take ownership of your work and a ‘Getting-Things-Done’ mindset
- Dynamic and proactive work ethic with willingness to go the extra mile
- Interested in financial modeling for risk management and pricing of financial instruments
- Solution-oriented with a very pragmatic approach
- Familiar with MacBook/Google Drive
