**A&O SHEARMAN**

**L**egal**internship - Tax law** - July to December 2025**

**Department purpose**
Our team provides practical and commercially viable advice to real estate funds, private equity funds, banks, corporates and institutional investors, among others. We advise our clients on a wide range of tax issues, from VAT and transfer pricing-related matters to international tax planning work and tax litigation, and are predominantly involved in matters regarding tax aspects of Luxembourg investments and the structuring of international transactions via Luxembourg vehicles.
Luxembourg tax practice offers a full range of services, including advice on both domestic and cross-border situations.
You will have to work on know-how and transactional aspects.

**Role purpose**
A six-month internship contract in our Tax department from July to December 2025 which is covered by an internship agreement.

**Key requirements**
- You are currently preparing for a Master in Law, LL.M or preparing a Bar in any European jurisdiction.
- You are fluent in French, English, and German and have good writing skills in all three languages.
- You have a strong interest in Tax law.
