**Role Purpose**:
The role owner manages the assigned matrix responsibility of CPE sub-categories and the number of category vendors. The vendor role responsibility includes relationship management with a number of vendors and is responsible for all supply management topics, leading commercial negotiations, and giving strategic direction to VF stakeholders. Leads the contract, price, and terms negotiations and delivers a competitive advantage by leveraging Vodafone’s global scale and scope.

**You will**:

- Supports to execute the global supplier strategy for leveraging the commercial relationship with suppliers to generate competitive advantages
- Drive improvements of the supplier’s performance and set standards for all suppliers ( QBRs, SPM evaluation etc.)
- Supports commercial relationships including prices, terms, and contracts, leveraging on the respective core teams.
- Deliver against agreed TC commercial benefit targets
- Contract management
- Supports escalations towards supplier topics from allocation situations.

**It would be nice if you have**:

- Professional experience with a minimum of 3 years in Telco industry purchasing (one or more of the following categories is an advantage Terminals/ CPE/ Mobile Connect / Netbooks)
- Excellent negotiation skills that deliver agreed objectives
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- High-level numerical analysis skills and ability to provide clear recommendations to complex issues
- Team player, strong influence and relationship management skills

**You must have**:

- Experience in fixed-line customer premise equipment (CPE) or category management
- Sound understanding of Telco technology, products, and supply/consumer market
- Past experience with an ODM commercial model and management of ODM suppliers is preferred
- International experience preferable
- Ability to accomplish goals in traditional and matrix organizations is preferable
