The Global Engineering Services (GES) team is responsible to deliver capacity to fulfill customer demand. The EMEA Engineering Services Finance team is looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to support the initiatives of its growing Engineering team.

This Finance Leader will be a trusted finance advisor working closely with various stakeholders including EMEA Engineering Services leaders, other Global Finance teams, and Financial system teams to automate where possible. A key responsibility will be to own the planning and reporting process.

Job summary
As a successful analyst, you will identify specific and actionable opportunities to solve business problems, and collaborate with finance, engineering. You will have the opportunity to work on strategic initiatives to increase the level of automated processes, and help achieve strategic financial performance goals.

Key job responsibilities
- Gathering analytical insights and developing financial frameworks to help grow profitability and expand our reach in a global environment.
- Participating in the core financial processes for the organization including Annual Operating Plans, 3 year Strategic Plan, and Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Completing cost/benefit analyses and communicating key drivers/inputs to support business decisions.
- Performing financial reporting, deep project analyses, and financial modelling.
- Oversee financial reporting for your business area. Understand input drivers and validate integrity of the reporting to influence strategic decision-making and planning.

- MBA or Master’s Degree is preferred
- Experience working with reporting tools (examples: SQL, Tableau, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate complex processes and financial scenarios.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
