**JOB DESCRIPTION**
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of client service and timeliness. You will also provide support to the managers of the fund accounting operations department and will be involved closely in operational issues. You should demonstrate superior market, investment, and business knowledge ensuring quality of service whilst adhering to the strict deadlines. Experience on reduction of manual touchpoints and automation would be an advantage.
**Responsibilities**:
- Be a primary point of contact for operational activity across all Luxembourg fund ranges, working as a trusted client partner and advocate, ensuring strong strategic alignment and open communication
- Ensure all daily functions are completed to meet the agreed service levels
- Identify process inefficiencies and manage change through operational process improvements
- Identify any process and/or procedural changes required as a result of changes to client SLA’s, markets, daily operations or business functions.
- Support Team Management with appropriate escalation of all issues, service updates and progress updates for clients.
- Have an understanding of Risk Management and should be able to manage the issues exceptions above materiality thresholds for resolution.***
**Required experience, qualifications, capabilities and skills**:
- Extensive experience in a Fund Accounting environment
- Experience within a large team environment with the ability to set high standards and focus the team on achieving & improving on them
- Proven experience in and an understanding of distributed operating model and constituent parts
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Problem solving and initiative.
- Experienced in working in a fast paced and demanding environment
- Understanding of the financial markets, investment types and accounting and pricing policies essential
**Preferred Qualifications, capabilities and skills**:
- Effective communicator across all levels
- Microsoft Office skills: Excel (Intermediate to Expert level), Word and PowerPoint
- Previous experience in a Net Asset Value Operations environment (Desirable)
- Proficiency in usage of intelligent automation tools
