This is a newly created role to join a dynamic team of 6 dedicated to the European tax operations of this prestigious group. Reporting to the head of department, you will make sure that the applicable tax laws and regulations are applied to the operations managed for the private and institutional clients of the bank in Europe (Spain, France, Belgium and Luxembourg).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyse and control of the correct tax calculation
- Contribution to the drafting of the various reports (QI, Fatca, CRS) and to the local authorities
- Support clients with the drafting of their tax declarations
- Set up procedures to automatise tax payments, collect and control the required documents
- Manage incident reports when required
- Advise and manage requests from internal and external counterparties
- University degree in Law, Tax, Finance or Accounting
- A first successful experience in tax administration of minimum 5 years within a banking environment
- A good understanding of the operations within a private or institutional bank
- Rigorous, proactive, dynamic, team player with excellent communication skills
- Fluent in French and English, the knowledge of Spanish or Dutch would be a great asset
- The knowledge of Avaloq or Fitax would be a strong asset
