**Lead Analyst, Depositary Bank - The Bank of New York Mellon**

The Lead Analyst will join the NAV Oversight Team within the Depositary bank.
She/he will mainly assist management in ensuring the execution of a comprehensive monitoring program of different depositary’s duties and conducting a wide range of administrative activities across both Custodians and Fund Managers (including their delegates).
- Perform periodic controls related to depositary oversight duties related to NAV calculation and income distribution as well as monitoring capital stock process;
- Monitor all exceptions that need to be escalated;
- Ensure good understanding of the Clients and their specificities;
- Assists in the preparation of reporting requirements for the Board of the Fund; and,
- Execute/reviews administrative duties within the team.
**Qualifications/Technical knowledge**
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- 5 years of work experience in a depositary bank role or in a Fund accounting role is required
- Good knowledge of financial instruments and of AIFMD and UCITS V Regulations.
- Good knowledge of financial market and various parties in the market, i.e., Transfer Agent, Domiciliation Agent
- Good knowledge of Luxembourg investment fund structure would be an asset
- Experience of UCITS and Alterative Funds would be an asset
- Fluent English skills (verbally and written)
- Attention to detail and an inquisitive mind-set
- Ability to plan effectively, with strong deadline orientation
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of MS Office VBA would be an asset
- Process Improvement experiences/ LEAN skills e.g. to design/establish new detailed processes, documentation skills, e.g. procedures/manual
- Ability to analyse data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis;
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills;
- Ability to identify logical and innovative solutions to complex problems;
- Self-motivated, innovative and analytical;
- Possess good understanding of data migration, testing and reconciliations.
