The rail team purchases all transports by rail in Europe. The team is international.

The position is based in Luxembourg. Frequent travel to Spain is expected for the role.

**Mission & responsibilities**
- Purchase the transport by rail of all types of goods like raw materials, scraps, semi-products and finished products for the Spanish plants & import to Spain from the other European plants.
- Responsibility of a spend ~60M€.
- Collect the needs and implement the contracts with the logistic & supply chain teams of our plants.
- Follow-up the rail transport (volume, spend, issues...).
- Prepare and push the improvement of the business (taking benefits of the experiences made by the other members of the team for their own perimeters): introduce changes in production mode, commercial relation, supplier portfolio.
- Prepare and implement the purchasing strategy for the geographical perimeter as part of the global strategy for Europe.
- Take care of the purchasing rules and methodology, assume the compliance guidelines.
- Prepare the documents like activity report, financial report, file for approval or submission.
- Take care of the price management in the tools (SAP, Oracle ).

**Requirements**:

- Master Degree in Economics, Engineering or Supply Chain
- Preferably experience in procurement - 2-3 years
- Open minded
- Team spirit
- Good relationship and comminication
- As our contracts are very important both for our customers and EBITDA plants, reliability is one major key for success
- A good ease facing numbers is mandatory
- Able to prepare strategy, to establish partnership with key accounts like
- Fluent English and Spanish, and preferably French
