Leadership and Strategy**:
- Serve as a key member of the Technical Leadership Team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to review business specifications, providing critical technical feedback.
- Maintain and update technical roadmaps for the product, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy.
- Oversee and ensure alignment between the 2-4 software engineering teams, fostering effective collaboration and synchronizing deliverables.
- ** Technical Quality Assurance**:
- Uphold the technical quality and validation of the product.
- Lead technical plan reviews and code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Establish and maintain technical and nonfunctional requirements, guidelines, and practices for the product.
- ** Technology and Process Management**:
- Decide and define the appropriate technologies to be used in product development, based on the input of architect level engineers (Principle Engineers, Software Architects) and the infrastructure team.
- Streamline and update development cycles, processes, and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
- Set, maintain, and periodically revise technical rules, guidelines, practices, and processes.
- ** Team Development and Collaboration**:
- Provide consistent support and guidance to engineering leads.
- Mentor, evaluate, and foster the growth of engineering leads and individual engineers.

- Act as a mediator in any conflicts that arise between or within teams, driving solutions that promote team cohesion and productivity.

- Experience in multi datacenter, distributed systems management and operations.

- Experience with continuous integration tools, Git, GitHub workflow.
