**About The Company**
Our client has gained expertise in customising payment solutions from building and providing digital payment journeys for their Group, its subsidiaries and affiliates. The company provides merchants with tailored solutions to accelerate their growth and maximise customer satisfaction through state-of-the-art payment experiences, and white label service offering. A recent joint venture with J.P. Morgan has enabled the company to grow its operational business. The e-money institution is expanding its team in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, and hence growing its footprint in the world of digital payments.
**About the role**
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager with experience in ecommerce to join our clients’ payments solutions team. This senior sales position focuses on the identification and generation of new business opportunities across Europe, selling the companies complete e-payment portfolio. This is a specialist sales role that requires a high degree of commercial acumen, business maturity and self-motivation.
A proven track record in sales with qualified success in accretive revenue strategies will be necessary, including pipeline conversion and enhanced time to revenue.
The role is important to the development of the company’s payment platform in Europe and you will be required to execute on the strategy that employs their selling methodology to deliver commercial growth with future B2B customers.
The role will be connected to the company’s executive level for company prospects and work closely with their Head of Sales. You will also work closely with colleagues in the Product team and Product Solutions Specialists.
**Responsibilities**
- Effective management of all phases of the sales lifecycle
- Employ defined and established methods to identify prospective clients
- Participate and, where required, lead Go-to-Market planning efforts to develop and execute on demand generation, structured sales acceleration programs and activities. This will include close collaboration with product & marketing and global sales teams
- Employ and leverage company sales methodology to identify new growth opportunities with prospects
- Selling and delivering multi-year contracts with upsell and cross sell solutions enabling clients to use the companies IT payment platform and services
- Driving business development initiatives on top of the company’s own solutions.
- Accurately forecasting opportunity bookings through the tools provided and accurately forecasting revenue growth
- Developing and maintaining account plans to report on commercial progress and input into product roadmap using market knowledge & quantifiable facts
- Facilitate and lead local pipeline meetings with the relevant local stakeholders, including with those at executive level ensuring the markets are kept up to date on and how the company are working to close any gap
- Lead virtual teams to drive successful sales Qualifications.
**About You**
- The individual in this role will deliver sales excellence as well as a depth of technical and problem-solving skills that will deliver solutions that are the foundations of our clients’ growth.
- Strong sales financial expertise related to deal structures and value to execution to the merchant ecosystem.
- Experience working with Payment Technology Platform in selling technical products to merchants for their digital sales channels (web & app)
- High level of problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
- Excitement about the digital payments space and the opportunities it creates for sellers and buyers Good knowledge of working with merchants across Europe.
- Experience of managing multiple internal stakeholders to deliver commercial goals.
- Ability to drive a collaborative culture with key cross functional stakeholders, and manage internal stakeholders to deliver commercial goals
- Project management skills and strong communication skills.
- Ability to travel globally if required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, proficiency in any other language is welcome
