Investment Controlling Team Leader

As part of the
- **Risk & Compliance Department**, You will be supervising the Investment Controlling team, and reporting directly to the team head, you will mainly be responsible for ensuring accuracy and completeness of controls on investment restrictions and other related production activities.**Your role**:

- Ensure proper organization of the service by prioritizing activities within the team and supervise IC team members
- Analysis and/or review of IC exceptions and follow-up with internal or external parties
- Check the compliance of the controls implemented by the service with the legal and regulatory provisions applicable in Luxembourg
- Ensure regulatory watch of IC related topics
- Participate to projects and ensure the implementation of new controls /organisational changes related to the activity of Investment Controlling.
- Supervise reporting activity performed by the team ( Fund governing body, kpis, adhoc client reports)
- Implement and maintain documentation of on team processes
- Managing the 2002/77/ procedures in relation to the active overruns recorded (drafting/review of notifications, monitoring of remediation plans).

**Your profile**:

- Qualifications and experience:_
- University degree (BAC+4/BAC+5) in Finance, Economics, Risk Management and/or Mathematics/Statistics.- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in the area of investment restrictions, the investment fund industry or with a banking institution.
- Specific knowledge:_
- Leadership in Team organization and management skills- In-depth knowledge of the different businesses involved in the investment fund industry (custodian bank, transfer agent and fund administration), of financial products (in particular derivatives) and of financial markets, as well as of risk management techniques.- In-depth knowledge of the regulations applicable to Fund investment controlling activity.
- Knowledge of processes and analysis method relating to monitoring compliance with legal and regulatory provisions and investment restrictions (CSSF procedure 2002/77).
- Communication skills to represent the service and address key messages
- Ability to interpret legal and regulatory provisions as well as investment policies and guidelines.
- Technical/functional skills- Languages:_
- Written and spoken fluency in French and English (German a plus).As the chosen applicant you will show initiative and be keen to produce work of a high quality.
