I am currently collaborating with a Luxembourg regulated AIFM to recruit an Associate Portfolio Manager.

The company is currently managing 2 Specialized Investment Fund with several hundred million in AuM and a broad mandate that includes investments in public (Equity, Fixed Income, and Hedge Funds) and private (Real Estate, Private Equity, and Venture Capital) assets.

We are seeking to hire an Associate Portfolio Manager to join the investment team and support research, analysis, due diligence, transaction execution, and monitoring of investments and delegates.

The Associate Portfolio Manager will report to the Chief Executive Officer. The position involves a high level of coordination with other members of the team, a small dynamic unit with multiple roles and responsibilities.

**Key responsibilities**:
Keeping abreast of developments and trends in international financial markets ;
Deepen your knowledge of the subsectors within 3 thematic strategies: technology, healthcare and energy transition ;
Work with senior management to review offering documents and fund documentation and ensure company and regulatory compliance of AIFs ;
Liaise closely with the Portfolio Manager and investment advisors to evaluate financial information and investment opportunities presented to the AIFM ;
Work with other members of the investment team to source, evaluate, and present investment opportunities to the relevant Investment Committee ;
Prepare company valuations, financial models, internal presentations in addition to performing research and various analysis ;
Work on the due diligence of European Private Equity and Venture Capital investment opportunities (primaries, secondaries, co-investments, direct investments) in collaboration with the investment team, including preparing valuation analysis and summary reports ;
Day-to-day business of portfolio management, including order execution (trading) either for rebalancing purposes or for the execution of recommendations approved by the Investment Committee ;
Oversee the work of the Middle Officer, ensuring the proper processing of capital call, distributions, etc. (cash movements) of Private Equity and Venture Capital funds in the portfolio ;
Assist in the preparation of summary review materials in support of internal quarterly reviews, external investor reports, board meetings ;
Periodic comprehensive evaluation and analysis of all funds in the portfolios. Review of performance calculation (IRR, MOIC) of private investment portfolios against relevant benchmarks ;
Maintain and develop relationships with brokers, asset managers, intermediaries and general partners of European PE and VC funds ;

**Qualifications**:
A proven academic record and an interest in Finance, Investments, and Asset Management. CFA, CA, CAIA, CFDS designation is a plus ;
A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar or related role. Previous experience in PE/VC fund selection and investment is a plus ;
Fluent in English - Additional European language is a plus ;
Excellent analytical, writing, presentation skills, and an ability to communicate complex investment opportunities in a straightforward manner ;
Effective time-management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload ;
The ability to work in a fast-paced professional environment would be an asset.
