**Group ERM Senior Manager**

We are seeking a Group ERM Senior Manager to join our Risk team and will be based in our Luxembourg

office. The Group ERM Senior Manager will be reporting to the SIH ERM & Risk Governance Principal.

**Responsibilities include: **

As _Group ERM Senior Manager_, you will mainly be responsible for all internal and external risk

reporting and other risk related compliance requirements for Sompo International Holding (SIH) and

its key operating entities.

As _Chief Risk Officer for SI International (Europe) S.A. (SIIE)_, you will be responsible for all aspects of

the enterprise risk management framework of SIIE, ensuring appropriate processes, policies and

reporting is in place for the Company, in line with regulatory requirements.

Lead the production of high-quality risk reporting and risk documentation for Group and legal entities

including:

- Board and Risk Committee meeting packs,
- ORSA reports,
- External risk disclosures,
- Risk policies,
- Other risk presentations and reports to meet internal and external deliverables.

Support the Group CRO and other entity CROs with broader ERM deliverables including the annual

review of risk appetite, analysis of emerging risks, and the risk review of prospective business plans.

Attend local management committees and forums (e.g., underwriting, operations, reserving etc.) and

engagement with local senior management to support these activities.

Coordinate and prepare the response to any risk-related regulatory (or other external) information

requests and more generally ensure the group and legal entity risk management framework,

governance and policies are consistent with all local regulatory standards.

Lead the preparation of risk related reporting and other information requests from Sompo Holding

Japan.

Support relevant Group risk activities and projects as required.

**Desired Skills & Experience**:
Bachelor’s degree with successful completion of a higher degree or professional qualification in

actuarial (FIA or FCAS), finance (CFA) or accounting (CA).

At least 5 years of experience in the field of (re) insurance risk management within the Commercial

P&C industry.

Proven ability to plan, organize and direct the execution of organizational goals, objectives, and

complex processes.

Ability to think strategically and stimulate creativity.

Ability to influence and have organization impact beyond immediate team, build relationships across

the organization and lead change.

Demonstrated proactive approach and ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and presentational skills.

Experience implementing risk management frameworks.

Experience with Solvency II and similar regulatory regimes.
