PRIVATE CAPITAL CUSTODY OFFICER (M/F) (NUMÉRO DE L'EMPLOI : LUX022186) **_BNP PARIBAS SA_**_, filiale du groupe BNP Paribas, figure parmi les premiers intervenants européens en matière de conservation de titres._Dans ce dispositif, _**_BNP PARIBAS SA_**_ - Succursale de Luxembourg joue un rôle majeur en offrant à ses clients des services à forte valeur ajoutée tels que conservation de titres, prêt de titres, administration de fonds, mesure et attribution de performance, services financiers dans le cadre d’emprunts obligataires_ - Pour soutenir le développement de ses activités_**_, _**_BNP PARIBAS SA_**_ recherche un :_ ***Private Capital Custody officer (M/F)** **Missions**: - To monitor and to ensure safe keeping of assets qualified as “Other Assets” and the appropriate controls on their transactions - To perform the ownership verification of these other assets - To liaise with the Depositary & Fiduciary Services department (DFS) for controls to be performed by the Depositary Bank **Key Responsibilities & Expected result area** - Review and analysis of documents received in relation to any direct or indirect investments before processing the related payments. - Supervision, including control of bank accounts of intermediary holding companies, local SPV and underlying, such as unquoted companies. - Preparation of bank confirmation for the depositary bank. - Handling of all incoming requests, either from client, either from other counterparts, regarding the Private Capital custody tasks. - Make sure that checklists are completed on time, exhaustively and double-checked before providing the output to the client. - AIFMD dashboard completion of custody part. - Surveillance of all funds’/SICARs’/unregulated entities’ assets via controls done on a regular basis. - Contribution to regular updates of existing procedures following compliance or risk officer directives. - Maintaining efficient external and internal relationships with clients, managers, other departments, sales representatives, auditors - Follow-up of the incidents until full completion of corrective and preventive measures. - Archiving of all custody documents. - Help in the production of Custody activity KPIs. - Improving hierarchy relationship by reporting regularly encountered problems, outstanding work (escalation process) and any risk identified. - Participate to the review of team procedures and checklists. - If required be involved in department projects. - Support other Private Capital (FA, TA, Cash...) teams when needed. - Ensure relevant information is communicated to the TA, FA and cash teams. - Provide client service & support for BAU and ongoing operational issues. - Follow-up of the incidents until full completion of corrective & preventive measures. **Profile**: - Baccalaureate - Experience in the fields of Custody or knowledges of Fund industry (Private Capital being an advantage) - Fluent in English and French; German/other languages will be considered as an asset **Competencies**: - Communication skills: to be able to express her/his messages, both oral and written, in a clear way - Analytical skills: to review and to analyse any documents - Organisation skills: able to manage her/his day-to-day and priorities - Accuracy: - precision and attention to details - to respect tight deadlines - to follow to-do lists - Client focus: ensure to satisfy client’s needs within deadlines - Escalation: - to ask for assistance when needed - to refer issues to the appropriate person(s) - Ability to learn by adjusting practices following newly acquired knowledge **Lieu principal**: Luxembourg **Type d'emploi**: CDI **Domaine d'activité**: TRAITEMENT DES OPERATIONS **Niveau d'Etudes***: Master ou équivalent (> 4 ans) **Niveau d'expérience***: Au moins 2 ans **Horaire**: Temps plein
