**WHAT TO EXPECT**
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located either in our Luxembourg office or in our Shared Service Center in Wroclaw and reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Compensation, you will be accountable for supporting the design, development, implementation and management of market competitive compensation and benefit solutions within Gates's Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
- You'll be providing compensation and benefits support for 16 countries and approximately 4,500 employees.
- This is an exciting opportunity for you because you will be partnering with HR Managers and HR Business Partners within the EMEA region to ensure timely review of current compensation and benefit programs within the region, including benefit renewals.
- Your fit in the organization will be providing day-to-day compensation and benefit support and advice to regional HR in the implementation, communication and administration of compensation and benefit programs.
**Key responsibilities (to name a few)**:
- Identifying options to ensure market competitiveness and make cost effective recommendations to senior regional leadership.
- Supporting regional HR and business leadership team in developing impactful compensation and benefit solutions to address changing market, legislative and/or collective bargaining environments.
- Analyzing regional compensation and benefit programs to ensure alignment with Gates's philosophy, market competitiveness, internal equity and applicable legislation.
- Partnering with global compensation and benefit team members in the preparation, delivery and administration of Gates global compensation programs.
- Partnering with key stakeholders in confirmation and tracking of costing relating to applicable compensation and benefit programs.
- Providing compensation and benefits expertise and support on special projects.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Degree in Human Resources or Finance and minimum of 5 years of compensation & benefits experience within the European Union (EU)
- Good knowledge and understanding of regional factors influencing effective and cost-effective compensation and benefits solutions within the EU region
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work within a matrix environment and across different levels
- Experience with HRIS systems; working knowledge of Compensation Planning tools and Oracle a plus, Excellent knowledge of the Pack Office and Access considered an asset
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and ability to deal with sensitive information
- Languages: fluent English; other European language(s) considered an asset
