**Summary**:
Our client is a prestigious US Asset Management firm, with a strong presence in several European countries. They are looking to grow their team in Luxembourg with a Financial Controller who is ready to conduct themselves as the oversight of all events affecting the lifecycle of the funds (Private Equity) and finance departments while working closely with the Head of Finance.

This would be ideal for an external auditor who’s looking to make their first move into the Private Equity industry to be more involved in a range of transactional activities and is confident in working inherently, ensuring that investors’ interests are maximised, and their risks mitigated.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Control and review the accounting records for your portfolio of entities (NAV, investor reporting, capital statements, capital calls & distributions).
- Preparation/ review of the monthly and quarterly analysis (group and tax reporting).
- Review of investors and regulatory reporting (quarterly) under Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.
- Review/oversight meetings with service providers.
- Participation in various projects with Luxembourg and the global finance team.
- Tax filings and compliance requirements.
- Assist in presenting reports to senior executives and stakeholders.
- Prepare and review the legal documentation regarding the movements of capital and financial instruments.

**Role Requirements**:
The successful Financial Controller will have a university degree in accounting, and finance with 4 years of experience; currently working for a Big 4 company in the audit department or fund administration experience, ideally in Private Equity; advanced experience using Microsoft Excel and the ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
