What is the LHoFT?

The LHoFT Foundation is a public - private sector initiative that drives technology innovation for Luxembourg’s Financial Services industry, connecting the domestic and international FinTech community to develop solutions that shape the world of tomorrow.

The LHoFT connects with and creates value for the entire Luxembourg financial ecosystem; financial institutions, Fintech startups & trailblazers, IT industry, research and academia as well as the regulatory and public authorities.

**Its founding private sector partners are**: BGL BNP Paribas, Clearstream (Deutsche Börse Group), BCEE, Deloitte, Foyer Group, KPMG, POST Luxembourg, Six Payment Services, PwC, Société Générale, Telindus (Proximus Group), State Street and Temenos.

The other partners of the initiative are the Government of Luxembourg, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, the City of Luxembourg and the University of Luxembourg.

What is the role?

The Project Lead - Mutualised Solutions will report to directly to the Chief Executive Officer but will work closely with the whole team at the LHoFT and actively participate in the LHoFT’s broader activities. We are looking for a superstar with a drive to make change happen. She/He will take the lead in setting up and managing an initiative that will have real impact on financial services in Luxembourg. Alongside a strong skillset in project management, She/He will be able to build influence, build credibility and effectively communicate with a wide variety of senior stakeholders.

**The responsibilities are as follows**:
Recruit and manage a team of two people.

Construct and manage a steering committee representing the Luxembourg financial sector needs for mutualised services.

Works with the steering committee to define the set of priorities for mutualised initiatives for the Luxembourg financial sector.

Delivers the business and technical specifications for the required solutions, liaising with the relevant financial sector stakeholders.

Develops and implements a process, under the LHoFT’s Catapult programme brand, to solicit responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP) based on the specifications, to evaluate responses and vendors and to select a winning vendor.

Collaborates with 3 rd parties to provide funding for the initial development and deployment of the solution.

Ensures the mid-to-long-term viability of the solution.

Liaises with the industry users and the vendor developing the solution to ensure product-market fit.

Maintains effective financial and project progress forecasting and reports as appropriate.

Creates plans and works with the LHoFT Marketing team to raise awareness of the initiative

Agrees and then reports on appropriate KPIs.

Protects the LHoFT brand and identity, ensuring consistency across all external touchpoints.

Is a conscientious and respectful team player, working closely with the LHoFT team to achieve business objectives.

Seeks help as and when needed, to be open to input, to be transparent, to find solutions rather than issues, to manage business risk, to treat others as you would want to be treated yourself.

Travel, as required and when appropriate.

The person we are looking for will likely have the following attributes:
Bachelor degree in economics, statistics, strategy, or business management is an advantage

5+ years work experience

A knowledge of Fintech and Financial Services

Strong and proven project management skills

Incredible communication and writing skills - in English

Ability to multi-task and manage complex works stream and a network of stakeholders

Agility - ability to attend to new priorities quickly as required

Analytical and diligent

Demonstrable influencing capability, social, able to get along with a wide variety of people and know how to position a case to get tasks done

Willing to learn (technologies, methods) and develop new competencies

Creativity, both in ideas and execution

Organised and level headed, not prone to panic or to over-react but able to assess, plan actions and implement in a constructive and logical way

Confidence to be autonomous

Demonstrable execution capabilities

Native speaker in English or at least fluent, both oral and written. French, Luxembourgish and German would be an advantage
