Our client is a mid-size private bank in the heart of Luxembourg City. With a great risk appetite and a drive for business, their growth at the moment is in the double digit level for the past few years. Headquartered in Zurich, it has an international network spanning Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America, and manages assets for private clients all over the world.
The bank's services comprise asset management, investment counselling, securities brokerage, estate planning and a full array of banking services as Investment Funds services.
Thanks to their growing business, they are looking for a Senior Manager for their Depositary Services, reporting to the Head of the Depositary Bank.
**Responsibilities**:
Acting as a direct dedicated contact for important clients' quality services to manage the most complex enquiries related to the provision of Depositary services for UCITS and AIFs;
Being engaged in the on-boarding process in a supervisory manner;
Being in relation with high-end external providers such as AIFM, Management Company Central administration, Transfer Agent & Registrar, Domiciliary Agents and others;
Overseeing all day-to-day operations realised by the more junior staff;
Monitoring payments and investment instructions done by the more junior staff;
Managing a small team of 2-3 people that will report to you;
Checking the depositary activities are running as smoothly as possible and tackle issues with a problem-solving approach;
**Your profile**:
University degree in a relevant field (Law, Economics, Finance ) or equivalent professional experience;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Investment Funds industry in Bank, Central administration, and/or audit;
Good knowledge of the alternative asset classes (PERE, Tangible Assets, Private Debt )
Good knowledge of the regulatory environment applicable to the Depositary activity
Fluent in English and French;
Tech savvy with Microsoft office skills;
Ability to communicate efficiently and professionally with both peers and external stakeholders including clients and regulators;
flexible, proactive, people management qualities;
Dynamic with organisation skills.
