Maintenance Planner and Technical Publications

ExecuJet is currently seeking a suitably qualified person to fill a vacancy within the Aviation division, based at Lanseria International Airport.

**Purpose of the job**
The main objective of the position is to effectively control and execute aircraft maintenance planning, scheduling and airworthiness control, as well as control, maintain and co-ordinate the organisation’s operational library and distribution platforms by supporting the nominated post holders in the control, amendment, distribution and administration of relevant publications.

**Key responsibilities**
- Proactive planning of aircraft maintenance
- System management and record keeping
- Ad-hoc planning activities
- Aircraft Maintenance Management, quote requests and owner approval process.
- Airworthiness document tracking and follow up
- Establish and maintain a Document Management System (DMS) for operational publications of an acceptable standard (best practices and approved internal procedures)
- Manage and maintain all operational documents, subscriptions, manuals, and distribution platforms
- Establishment and maintenance of a compliance matrix for internally published documents
- Adhere to publication specification of documentation
- Ensure smooth workflow processes and standardization of documentation and manuals
- Electronic Flight Bag Administration
- Quality and Safety Assurance of the Document Management System
- Assist with ad hoc duties as assigned by the relevant manager.

**Requirements**:
**Educational**
- Matric/Grade 12
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- South African Civil Aviation Regulations (Added advantage)

**Experience**
- Minimum of three years’ experience as an Airframe/Engine Maintenance Planner
- Experience in updating and auditing of aircraft Airframe and engine log books
- Good understanding of aviation/aircraft terminology and all aspects of technical publications
- Experience in building of aircraft inspections including SB’s and AD’S on maintenance tracking program
- Experience in the management of job cards from generating of job cards up to the archiving of job cards
- Experience with maintenance tracking systems i.e. CAMP, Traxxall, Flightdocs, Avdex as well as updating these systems
- Working experience on electronic control and distribution platforms.
- Working knowledge on graphic design software (advantageous)
- Working knowledge of customized publication software such as Webmanuals (advantageous)
- Electronic Flight Bag Administration (advantageous)
- Strong IT software packages understanding particularly Office packages, PDF editing, and control platforms

**Additional requirements**
- Operational/Technical writing skills (English)
- Strong administrative skills regarding document control, procedure development, database and information management
