**Job Details**:
The Program Manager will lead and manage all Redwire Luxembourg robotics and mechanisms projects for commercial and government customers from around the world. These projects will see the delivery of flight-ready robotic subsystems and precise mechanisms for space missions. The scope of these missions includes satellite servicing and life extension, in-space logistics, active debris removal, lunar surface operations, but also commercial and dual-use satellites.

The Program Manager is a key role in our mission to facilitate space industrialisation. As a Program Manager, you will work daily with engineering experts in robotics, mechatronics, software, electronics, mechanisms and spacecraft testing to realize the goals of your programs on time and within budget.

Program Manager will report to Director of Operations and work closely with the Redwire Space NV program management team.

**Responsibilities**:
Lead and manage projects from system study level, through development, qualification and delivery of flight ready robotic subsystems and mechanisms to clients

Supervise and support project managers that led other projects or work packages

Identify and train future project managers

Lead interactions with customers, care of good communication, relationships and meeting customers expectations

Be responsible for the successful delivery of projects on time, cost and quality

Define, manage and track internal and customer’s milestones

Lead and successfully close internal and external project reviews, including review item discrepancies

Drive the planning, budget, project definition, schedule, resources, certain technical decisions, and trade-offs

Define, track, execute and provide all deliverables required within scope of the project, containing engineering work products, and hardware models such as Breadboard Models, Engineering Models, Qualification Models and final products

Work with multidisciplinary teams and leaders - systems engineering, robotics, mechatronics, electronics, software, testing and quality assurance to enable successful execution of state-of-the-art projects from beginning to end

Report monthly status, including risks and opportunities, profitability and spending of all Redwire Luxembourg projects and their Key Performance Indicators, such as Estimation at Completion and Estimate to Complete to Redwire Space Europe executives and Redwire Space US

Establish and update resource planning for each running project and consolidate at company level

Liaise with Director of Operations and Team Leaders to assign the right persons to the various projects

Manage bottlenecks in resource availability by defining priorities across projects

Support company Business Development efforts through verification of Project Implementation plans

Coordinate billing efforts with the appropriate client stakeholders.

**Basic qualifications**:
B.S./ M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics engineering or equivalent area of focus

Minimum 3-5 years of Program Management Experience

Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project team members

Knowledge of project management tools, such as MS Project, Rally, Asana, etc.

Knowledge of Kanban and pipeline-like processes

Ability to manage and motivate engineers

Self-motivation to accomplish drum beating in the team

Capacity to assess what has priority in a certain situation (for ex; cost over schedule)

Readiness to hand out responsibilities and give commands

Ability to assess the realistic or unrealistic nature of a request and be able to push back if need be

Spirit of collaborative nature, giving ownership to team members

Great planning and organizational skills.

**Preferred skills and experience**:
Experience in development or managing across the product life cycle from conceptual design through flight operations

System Engineering experience in the space industry

Experience managing space project for commercial and governmental customers (ESA, NASA)

Technical insight in multiple engineering fields and disciplines

Project planning and execution

ECSS/European prime documentation experience

Familiarity with financial literacy.
