**About the role**:
As the Senior Portfolio Manager at fundcraft, you'll be at the forefront of our digital-native fund operations, working closely with third-party investment advisors to streamline the investment process. You'll play a pivotal role in reviewing investment recommendations and documents, ensuring transaction compliance, and collaborating with our Risk Management, Valuation, and Compliance teams to mitigate risks. You'll present your insightful analyses to the investment committee, oversee investment compliance, and shape our internal policies. Your responsibilities will include updating fund documentation, producing quarterly performance reports, managing regulatory changes, and enhancing our innovative internal framework. Additionally, you'll prepare comprehensive reports for governance bodies and stay ahead of regulatory developments through close interaction with our Compliance team and external advisors. This position is based in Luxembourg and reports to the Conducting Officer in charge of Portfolio Management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Participate in the portfolio management activities of the AIFM in collaboration with third-party investment advisors.
- Participate in the coordination of the investment process, ensuring that the necessary supporting documents collected meet the requirements. Coordinate the organization of the investment committee once all necessary elements are collected and satisfactory.
- Perform the review of the investment recommendations, due diligences, investment memorandum, business plan and transaction legal documents received from the investment advisors from a portfolio management perspective.
- Assess the compliance of the considered transaction with the constitutive documents of the fund.
- Interact with the Risk Management, Valuation and Compliance departments for proper identification and mitigation of embedded risks.
- Present the results of your analysis to the investment committee of the AIFM.
- Perform ongoing monitoring of investments’ compliance with applicable regulations and AIF’s documentation.
- Draft and review of internal policies and procedures in relation with the portfolio management of the AIFM.
- Update fund documentation in regards to any portfolio management topic.
- Perform and create a quarterly reporting of performance figures and key risk and performance indicators for clients and internal governance (Executive Committee, Investment Committee, Board of Managers and other eligible recipients) and other external parties.
- Monitor and manage the implementation of regulatory changes.
- Strengthen and enhance the internal framework through standardisation and innovative ideas align with the fundcraft way of working, and work hand in hand with the other departments on new products and associated internal and external requirements.
- Prepare reports for the governing body of the funds, the ExCo/Board of Managers the AIFM.
- Remain up-to-date with the regulatory universe with a close interaction with internal Compliance team and external advisors.

**Must-Have Experience / Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or similar fields.
- CFA and/or CAIA certification is an asset.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Deep knowledge on how to implement the regulatory framework regarding alternative investment funds with an exposure to AIFMD + Circular 18/698.
- Experience in managing Private Equity and Venture Capital funds, Fund of Funds is an asset.
- Ability to read and synthesise complex legal documentation.
- Basic understanding of the valuation models for PE, VC and FoF assets.
