**Department Profile**:
RiverBank’s Risk Department is an important part of the Bank’s second line of defence. The Risk staff cover the management and monitoring of the credit risk process including the organisation of the risk committees as well as risk analyses, stress testing framework, the Bank’s liquidity program, ICLAAP and other strategic projects. The Risk Department also monitors the evolving regulatory requirements issued by the CSSF, the BCL, the EBA, the BCBS, the ECB and the ESMA where relevant in consideration of the Bank’s business model and activities.

The Risk Analyst Intern will be involved in all risk related matters of the Bank, among others, the implementation of risk methodologies, the monitoring of the key risk indicators and metrics of the loan portfolio.

**Primary Responsibilities include**:

- Gain industry and risk management knowledge through daily business interactions and work assignments
- Develop business, financial and analytical skills for a career in financial related services
- Provide analytical support to team members across departments (predominately Risk and Credit)
- Support preparation of portfolio, risk and liquidity reports on Bank’s risk exposures
- Assist in integration of new products and/or regulatory requirements into the Bank’s infrastructure

**Qualification and Experience**:

- In pursuit of a Master Science related degree such as Finance, Banking, Risk Management, Asset Management or similar.
- Strong desire to gain experience in financial services and fintech, keen interest in IT and new technologies
- Excellent modelling, data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Python and SQL is a plus
- High attention to detail, good organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast changing environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English required
