**We are seeking a Junior Tax Consultant**

Our Tax Function is looking for motivated, forward-thinking, and skilled people to join and reinforce the team.

The Junior Tax Consultant role is an essential steppingstone for individuals interested in building a career in the tax environment. It provides opportunities to learn from experienced professionals, develop a foundation for understanding tax regulations and compliance and contribute to providing the team and the Group at large with accurate and timely tax compliance support.

As a Junior Tax Consultant, you will work closely with senior tax professionals to assist in various tax-related tasks and develop your expertise.

**What you will be working on**
- Working collaboratively with the team to share information, insights.
- Learning from more experienced team members and seeking guidance when necessary.
- Developing effective communication skills to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Assisting the tax team ensuring that the Group’s tax filings and reporting requirements are properly and timely addressed.
- Acquiring, reviewing, and maintaining organised and detailed records of tax-related documents, calculations, and correspondence.
- Supporting in drafting and updating contracts and other relevant documentation.
- Establishing and maintaining a calendar for tax compliance activities.
- Participating in preparation of tax charges forecasts, tax accruals, tax returns under the guidance of the senior colleagues.
- Reviewing tax assessments and preparing for required actions.
- Assisting with maintenance and update of tax technology tool(s).
- Conducting research on tax laws, regulations, to support the senior team members and assisting in analysing tax issues and identifying relevant statutes or codes.

**What we look for**
- A university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Tax and eagerness to learn and develop continually.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and taxation concepts. Ideally already exposure to the tax field (e.g., via relevant internships or previous experience).
- A team player, who displays a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset and ability to deliver the expected level of work in time and work efficiently and accurately in a challenging environment.
- Accuracy and curiosity are keys to succeed for this role.
- Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in both English and French. Other languages are advantageous.
