Senior International Ads PR Manager

10+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
This individual will lead on all planning and implementation relating to International aspects of Amazon Ads flagship events as well as leading on planning and implementation of all non-US events. They will also lead on all launches of new Amazon Ads products and services outside of US.
Key job responsibilities
(1) Flagship Events
This individual will lead on all planning and implementation relating to International aspects of Amazon Ads flagship events as well as leading on planning and implementation of all non-US events. Key to this role is maximization of coverage related to any ‘new news’ coming out of these events.
This individual will be the key PR partner with Marketing to ensure keen alignment throughout planning and implementation stages. They will work with local Ads PR teams and our PR agency support network to drive coverage againist our goals.
Further responsibilities would include management of onsite media presence and executive interviews for English language opportunities (majority of events) as well as the reviewing and approval of all relevant content.
(2) International Product Launches
This individual would lead of all launches of new Amazon Ads products and services outside of US.
Working with the US-based Tech and Product Innovation team, this individual will be responsible for owning PR’s International product road map.
Further key responsibilities include strategic planning, creation of launch materials and effective management of local PR teams and PR agencies to ensure impactful results across all relevant product and service launches.
This individual would work as a product and service expert to support all local teams in content creation and media outreach going forward.
(3) Developing and enhancing best practice International approaches
This individual will work alongside the International PR Director (L8) and International Trust and Reputation Lead (L7) to develop effective and efficient working practices across all key International locales including EU5, LATAM, APAC and MENA.
This individual will be responsible for working with key executives across our International business including ongoing media training, identification of coverage opportunities that work across multiple geographies and co-ordinating with US PR on activity that can be amplified across locales.
