DESCRIPTION

Amazon Ads is looking for an experienced Senior Communications Manager to join our team in Luxembourg. This strategic global role will focus on enhancing customer trust and reputation, and leading our corporate communications efforts for Amazon Ads worldwide.

The role will report into the Global Director of PR for Amazon Ads.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead and manage reactive media inquiries related to Amazon Ads, effectively collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholders including legal, policy, and business teams
  • Provide strategic comms counsel to Amazon Ads leadership
  • Monitor industry trends to anticipate and address emerging topics
  • Partner with the Ads business teams to provide proactive counsel on business decisions that may have comms implications
  • Understand regulatory and policy developments that may impact Amazon Ads and its customers, ensuring communications are aligned with these considerations
  • Build and execute proactive communication programs that highlight Amazon Ads' impact on businesses, economies, and communities
  • Lead key global initiatives including social impact and industry relations
  • Work collaboratively with other Amazon teams to ensure Amazon Ads is included in wider Amazon corporate campaigns
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Extensive experience in public relations, communications, or related field at a senior level
  • Demonstrated experience managing corporate reputation and trust initiatives
  • Experience working in or with advertising, marketing, or media businesses
  • Track record of building and executing successful PR campaigns
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in ad tech, digital advertising, or marketing technology sectors
