**THE COMPANY**:
Our client is a global fund management company that excels in providing comprehensive solutions to its clients. With their expertise and professionalism, they consistently deliver outstanding results. They are looking for a Senior Compliance Officer for their Luxembourg business.

**THE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Review and update of the actual operational memorandum.
- Conducting customer due diligence on Private clients as well as on delegates, initiators and other counterparties; participate on the account opening/closing committees;
- Performing ongoing monitoring of clients business relationship;
- Provision of the annual AML training and different operational trainings, in cooperation with a second Compliance Officer;
- Evaluation of the regulatory changes impacting contractual Infrastructure (clients/counterparties/a.s.o.), with the assistance of external law firms);
- Follow up and control of MIFID II legal and operational requirements, including clients portfolio;
- Support the (RR) in the follow up of internal and external audit recommendations; and in the implementation of diverse new applicable regulations where required;
- Supporting and advising staff on compliance matters
- Supporting and advising Relationship Managers in Geneva with regard to Luxembourg regulations in terms of client introduction;
- Proposing and driving improvements related to changes products and/or services
- Sanction Screening on Clients/ delegates/ counterparts/ Assets;
- Assessment of the AML/CTF risk exposure of the Business and its clients
- counterparts and operations.
- Support the (RR) in performing impact assessments on selected missions and introducing the respective actions where relevant by means of the annual / 3annual compliance monitoring plan;
- Performing investigation repots and ensuring proper regulatory watch.
- Maintain and keep communication to a high standard with CSSF and other regulatory authorities
- Ensuring adherence of local and Group Compliance policies & procedures
- Advisory on general issue resolutions
- Oversight on the transaction monitoring.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Bachelor degree or country equivalent in civil law / corporate law or related discipline;
- Demonstrated experience in the Luxembourg financial service industry (buy side)
- MANCO/ FUND experience needed
- Good understanding of the business plan of the company and ability to identify where compliance risks could arise
