We are seeking a Risk Manager, ESG, to lead our team’s human rights and environmental due diligence efforts, in partnership with Amazon's central WW Sustainability team. Key job responsibilities - Lead development and execution of HREDD strategy for Amazon’s transportation and delivery businesses in Europe - Oversee HREDD-related goals, coordination of activities and goal ownership across functions, and regular reporting to business leadership - Advise and coordinate with business leadership and key functions on identified risks, opportunities, and corresponding actions - Facilitate discussions with internal business teams and external stakeholders to design and test human rights and environment-based risk management mechanisms, programs, and strategies - Gather and incorporate feedback on activities and coordinate internal and external reporting (e.g., sustainability report) as needed - Engage with external stakeholders (e.g., NGOs, independent experts) to advance HREDD activities - Gather data from suppliers, business partners, product teams, etc. as needed in coordination with the pertinent functions across the business
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent
