The role combines scientific understanding with strong storytelling and digital communication skills. Experience in multimedia and social media content creation — particularly video production — would be a strong asset. Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement communication activities for the Luxembourg Institute of Health, the newly established Luxembourg Research Clinic and their research projects
- Plan, write, edit, and adapt content for websites, newsletters, press releases, reports, brochures, and social media
- Translate complex scientific and medical information into clear and engaging language for non-specialist audiences
- Plan, coordinate, and produce multimedia content, including video productions for institutional communication, research projects, and social media platforms
- Help define, develop and prepare marketing messages and content for material to promote LIH activities and services
- Support institutional communication campaigns and outreach activities
- Establish and maintain excellent cooperative relationships with all key stakeholders
- Coordinate communication with researchers, clinicians, and external stakeholders
- Contribute to social media channels and digital communication strategies
- Create or support multimedia content, including short videos, interviews, and visual storytelling for social media and online platforms
- Support media relations and event communication activities
- Ensure consistency of messaging and institutional branding across communication materials
- Provide assistance as required in preparing internal documents, reports and communications Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Required qualifications and skills_
- University degree in communication, journalism, science communication, biomedical sciences, public health, or a related field
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English and German (native level or equivalent), ideally in the medical/scientific context
- Strong understanding of and interest in scientific, biomedical, or health-related topics
- Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and engaging way
- Experience in institutional communication, science communication, healthcare communication, or related areas
- Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment
- Experience with video production, editing, or creating video content for social media
- Assets_
- Knowledge of Luxembourgish and/or French
- Experience with graphic design and digital communication tools
