Description
- Handle daily fund accounting activities with accuracy and within deadlines, ensuring reliable delivery to both internal teams and external stakeholders; carry out necessary checks and escalate any issues identified.
- Execute operational tasks across various clients and workflows while maintaining consistent quality and meeting deadlines across different time zones.
- Follow established procedures, systems, and guidelines, while actively contributing to the identification, escalation, and resolution of issues alongside senior team members.
- Support communication with clients, auditors, and third parties by preparing accurate information and responding to requests within agreed timelines.
- Conduct daily oversight of NAV production, including reviewing calculations, validation outputs, exception reports, and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely escalation of discrepancies.
- Review cash and position reconciliations, pricing differences, valuation inputs, and complex transactions; investigate and escalate variances while supporting their resolution with internal teams.
- Manage and monitor lifecycle events such as fund launches, closures, performance fee calculations, and in-specie transfers, ensuring correct accounting treatment, proper booking, and complete documentation. Profile
- At least three years of hands-on experience in fund accounting, with prior exposure to a Big Four environment considered an asset.
- Strong familiarity with UCITS frameworks, including their structure, operational processes, and valuation mechanisms.
- Sound awareness of Luxembourg regulatory requirements related to fund accounting and supervisory activities, particularly within the UCITS scope.
- Demonstrated capability to coordinate and deliver on multiple tasks simultaneously across various clients, jurisdictions, and operational setups.
- Solid grasp of accounting principles under Lux GAAP as well as IFRS reporting standards.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to contribute positively in a team-oriented and cross-functional environment.
