Head of finance (m/f)

• Location: Luxembourg
• Contract type: Permanent (CDI) – Full-time (or Part-time, minimum 80% - negotiable)
• Hours: 8.00 AM – 5.00 PM (40 hours per week, remote work possible)
• Salary: €65.000 – €100.000 (depending on experience)

Main Tasks (for both LU-CIX GIE & LU-CIX ASBL)

• Accounting & Closing:

• • Manage general and analytical accounting operations (as well as the financial monitoring of projects)
  • Prepare and validate year-end financial closings
  • Coordinate with external accountants and auditors
  • Supervise the Accounting Assistant

• Reporting & Financial Control:

• • Establish the annual budget and financial forecasts
  • Advise CEO and CFO on strategic financial decisions

• Treasury & Taxation:

• • Manage daily cash flow and optimize liquidity
  • Review and validate tax and social filings (Luxembourg VAT and corporate income tax)
  • Ensure strict compliance with Luxembourg financial regulations

Skills

• Solid expertise in Luxembourg accounting standards and tax legislation
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Odoo financial management software

Languages

• Full professional proficiency in French and English
• Knowledge of Luxembourgish or German is considered as an advantage.

Soft Skills

Autonomous, discreet, with excellent analytical skills. You should display team spirit, be flexible, show decision-making skills and be organized

Education and experience

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Financial Management.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in a similar role within a corporate environment or audit firm, ideally in Luxembourg
