Luxembourg, Luxembourg Hydrosat Temps plein
Job description

Hydrosat is a space and data analytics company building a new Earth observation constellation and software to unlock the power of thermal infrared imagery. Our mission is to capture and deliver high spatio-temporal resolution thermal infrared data, currently not available from other sources, to provide insights that benefit the environment, enhance food and water security, and serve other critical applications. Our downstream applications team in Luxembourg combines best-in-class remote sensing, machine learning, and cutting-edge fusion approaches to thermal imagery to deliver innovative and scalable solutions to the agri-food industry.

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager to lead the roadmap and growth of Hydrosat's Water & Crop Solutions portfolio, including products such as Field Irrigation Advisor, Water Productivity, and Water Use Compliance Monitoring.

This role requires a unique balance of commercial acumen and technical understanding. You will translate Hydrosat's advanced thermal and evapotranspiration capabilities into scalable, market-leading solutions for agriculture and water resource management. You should be equally comfortable engaging with customers and partners to identify market opportunities, as you are collaborating with engineers and scientists to refine data models and product features.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong execution skills capable of integrating customer feedback into the product roadmap, positioning Hydrosat's products competitively, and driving their commercial success in the global marketplace.

Job requirements
  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Hydrosat's Water & Crop Solutions, defining priorities that align with customer needs and company strategy.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the market and customer segments including farmers, irrigation managers, ag advisors, and policymakers to ensure customer-centric product innovation.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development to strengthen Hydrosat's market positioning, refine the value proposition, and drive adoption across key regions.
  • Translate complex scientific and data outputs (thermal, ET, soil moisture, water productivity) into clear product requirements and intuitive user experiences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Science, Engineering, and Data teams to develop, validate, and launch new features and products.
  • Integrate customer and stakeholder feedback into the product development lifecycle, ensuring continuous improvement of performance, usability, and market fit.
  • Use data-driven insights to measure product performance, prioritize enhancements, and guide strategic decisions.
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally, ensuring our roadmap delivers measurable ROI and real-world impact.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including irrigation technology providers, government agencies, and international organizations, to identify opportunities for collaboration and scale.

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Agronomy, Earth Observation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management, ideally within agriculture technology, Earth observation, or geospatial analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical or scientific concepts into clear business value and user outcomes.
  • Proven experience in market positioning, product strategy, and go-to-market execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to guide decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across technical and commercial teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing end-to-end product life cycles, from conception to launch.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with geospatial data, remote sensing, or thermal imagery applications.
  • Proven record of collaboration across multidisciplinary teams spanning science, engineering, and business.
  • Strong understanding of API-based and SaaS product models.
  • Experience in startups or high-growth technology environments.
  • MBA or equivalent experience in strategy, product, or business development.
Benefits
  • Attractive compensation package
  • Equity through a stock option plan – be part of our long-term success
  • Fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with real impact and ownership
  • Hybrid work model
  • Work-from-anywhere flexibility
  • EU visa sponsorship if needed
  • Attractive Luxembourg tax breaks upon relocation and relocation bonus
