Role Experience – Systems Engineer

Position Type: Permanent

Work Mode: Onsite — 5 days/week at client location

Work Location: Luxembourg (Client Office)

Languages Required: English (mandatory) + French (mandatory)

Additional Advantage: Knowledge of multiple cloud platforms

Role Overview

The Systems Engineer will design, automate, optimize, and maintain infrastructure and CI/CD processes. The role requires strong DevOps capabilities, cross-team collaboration, performance monitoring, and on-call support for critical systems.

Key Responsibilities1. CI/CD Pipeline Management

  • Build and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
  • Automate code integration, testing, deployment, and release workflows.

2. Infrastructure Design & IaC

  • Design infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Develop scripts for automated setup, configuration, and deployments.

3. DevOps Tools & Best Practices

  • Stay updated on DevOps tools, trends, and best practices.
  • Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and delivery quality.

4. Cross-team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with developers, IT security, network, and operations teams.
  • Support stable releases and operational processes.

5. Automation

  • Automate recurring tasks such as server configuration and system updates.
  • Reduce manual effort and minimize errors.

6. Optimization

  • Analyze system, application, and network metrics.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement performance improvements.

7. Documentation & Audits

  • Maintain infrastructure and configuration documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits.

8. Monitoring & Reporting

  • Continuously monitor systems and networks.
  • Generate reports on performance, uptime, and issues.

9. On-call Support

  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to support critical systems.

10. Incident Response & Troubleshooting

  • Respond to incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

11. Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist with special IT projects, upgrades, and initiatives as assigned by IT Operations leadership.
