Position Summary

Acting primarily as a Treasury Operations Officer and providing additional support to the Finance team when needed

Key competencies

Broad Street Luxembourg is seeking a candidate who is well organised, has an eye for detail and can perform under pressure while remaining client focused. Delivering a high level of work to tight deadlines and being able to work independently or as part of a team are key. Proficient spoken and written English is a must, French would be an asset. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (notably Excel and Outlook) is required.

Duties

Under the supervision of the Treasury Operations Manager, the incumbent's duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensuring prompt and accurate settlement of payments (invoices, capital calls, drawdowns, distributions etc.)
  • Opening and managing bank accounts, including securities/custody accounts where applicable
  • Ensuring compliance with the relevant business processes and controls, and reviewing existing procedures with a view to improve them
  • Preparing automated and ad-hoc cash flow reports for internal and external parties
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with banks and external parties in Luxembourg and overseas, for pre and post settlement verifications in order to avoid errors
  • Conducting (when necessary) analysis of settlement errors and reviewing the relevant internal procedures as a consequence
  • Liaising with the legal department for updates on pledges and other guarantees on accounts
  • Cash reconciliation
  • Assisting with service fee expense follow-up
  • Liaising with the tax teams when needed, to help complete FATCA and CRS requirements
  • Providing administrative support when needed.
