Greenfield is proud to partner with an international organisation in Luxembourg to support the recruitment of a
Procurement Category Specialist (Facilities)
for a 10-month interim assignment starting in January to cover a maternity and parental leave.

The Role

Working closely with the Procurement Director and internal stakeholders across multiple sites, you will be responsible for executing category strategies and leading sourcing activities within the Facilities domain. Your expertise will directly support operational continuity, cost-efficiency, and supplier performance improvement across the organisation's physical infrastructure.

• Execute global category strategies for Facilities Management (hard & soft FM), Infrastructure, Real Estate and Logistics.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including market analysis, supplier evaluation, RFP/RFQ processes, negotiation, and contract implementation.
• Manage supplier relationships to drive performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Facilities, Real Estate, Engineering, Operations and Finance teams to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Integrate ESG and sustainability principles into supplier selection and category strategy.
• Monitor category KPIs, supplier performance and contract compliance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for innovation, efficiency and cost optimisation.

The Profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Procurement, with a strong focus on
  Facilities Management
  (hard and/or soft FM).
• Proven experience leading sourcing projects across multiple regions or global environments.
• Solid negotiation and stakeholder management skills at all organisational levels.
• Experience with vendor management systems and procurement-to-pay processes (SAP preferred).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage complex sourcing projects autonomously.
• Fluency in English; any additional European language is an advantage.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international and multicultural environment.
