We are seeking a highly motivated Intern to join our Valuation team at Forvis Mazars in Luxembourg. This is an exceptional opportunity for a top-tier student to gain hands-on experience in complex valuation assignments across Private Equity, Venture Capital, and operating companies.

As part of our team, you will work on dynamic projects involving advanced financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and strengthening our valuation desk and audit assist valuation function.
  • Contribute to valuation engagements, including business valuations and cross-checking valuation reviews, applying market-leading methods and theories.
  • Perform financial modeling for discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, market approach methods (Comparable Companies and Comparable Transactions), and option/warrant pricing analyses.
  • Conduct market research to support valuation assumptions and strategies.
  • Participate in client meetings and interviews, both in-person and via email, to gather critical information.

Your Profile

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Economics, Corporate Finance, Financial Mathematics, Management, or a related field (a Bachelor's degree with ongoing Master's studies is acceptable).
  • Enrolled at or graduated from top-tier universities.
  • Fluency in English is required (other languages, especially French or German, are a strong asset).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly grasp new tasks and industries.
  • Willingness to take initiative and responsibility in a team-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with complex financial instruments (e.g., derivatives) is a plus.
  • Participation in professional qualifications (CFA, ACCA, etc.) is considered an asset.
