Our client is a fast-growing, small and human independent financial provider, specialized in consolidation and financial reporting for alternative structures (Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure). With prestigious international clientele and a high-caliber team, they are looking for a dedicated IFRS & Consolidation Officer to join their Luxembourg office located in the west-side of Luxembourg allowing you easy access from Belgium or if you come from Luxembourg, commuting in the opposite direction of traffic.

Location: West side of Luxembourg (close belgian border), free parking

IFRS & Consolidation Expert - Your responsibilities :

  • Manage a dedicated portfolio of AIF clients, remaining hands-on in the preparation of tailor-made financial statements under LuxGAAP and IFRS
  • Respond to IFRS and consolidation-related queries from internal teams and clients, providing technical guidance and solution
  • Ensure continued compliance with evolving IFRS standards, and advise clients accordingly
  • Design and implement consolidation instructions and reporting packages, including in multi-currency environments
  • Establish and maintain group accounting policies, draft supporting documentation, and train local entities within the consolidation scope
  • Maintain and develop the consolidation system and chart of accounts
  • Post key consolidation adjustments and review consolidation entries for completeness and accuracy

IFRS & Consolidation Expert - Your profile :

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Audit
  • Over 6 years of relevant experience in consolidation and IFRS financial reporting (e.g., Big 4 FAAS, AIF service provider, or fund audit)
  • Strong technical command of IFRS (mandatory) and fund AIF structures
  • Excellent command of English (C1+) and good French (required for team integration)
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing operational tasks with technical advisory
