The Opportunity
Join our Luxembourg site as a DevOps Engineer working on the card issuing back office (Way4) within our Issuing Card Business. You'll be part of an engaged team of highly skilled professionals in an exciting, complex, and growing environment, contributing to high-value products and services.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Contribute to the full development lifecycle by developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining applications in accordance with best practices and security standards
- Design and deliver high-quality code that is testable, efficient, compliant with specifications, and secure to mitigate security vulnerabilities
- Participate actively as a SCRUM team member, engaging in team rituals and contributing to the successful delivery of reliable software that meets business and technical requirements
- Support production environments by resolving incidents, troubleshooting issues across development, test, and production environments, and collaborating with operations teams
- Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing through code reviews, brainstorming sessions with team members, expanding technical and business expertise, and proposing innovative solutions
Who Are We Looking For
We Look For Big Thinkers. People Who Can Act As An Ambassador For Worldline Group's Transparent Culture, Balancing Global Standards With Local Context And Ensuring Decisions And Processes Are Clear And Explainable. In Practice This Means
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent qualification, with a strong foundation in computer science or related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience at similar position.
- Proficiency in relational databases (SQL) and development languages such as PL/SQL, T-SQL, JAVA, or .NET
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, demonstrating ability to automate deployment and integration processes
- Experience working collaboratively in fast-paced environments, demonstrating accuracy and efficiency when managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines
- Fluency in English and French (both spoken and written) to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of XML technologies (XML, XSD, XSLT, XPATH, SOAP, WS-SECURITY) would be advantageous
- Proactive mindset and willingness to exceed expectations.
