For our department Airline Operationswithin Airport Services, we are looking for a (an):

Deputy Airline Safety Manager MTC (m/f/x)

Main duties:

  • Manage the Safety Management System in accordance with national and international regulations
  • Manage the Operational Flight Data Monitoring program
  • Manage the Luxair Safety Reporting System specialization Maintenance
  • Manage the Luxair Fatigue Risk Management System
  • Conduct and coordinate internal safety investigations specialization Maintenance
  • Ensure internal safety communication specialization Maintenance
  • Be a member in the ERAP team

Required profile:

Minimum required criteria:

  • Have relevant operational knowledge/experience in maintenance
  • Demonstrate good presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Be opened for travelling and participating in industry events
  • Be familiar with standard office applications
  • Show excellent communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written)

Desired or to be acquired criteria:

  • Refer to the training table
  • Show leadership and an authoritative approach
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company
  • Show the ability for clear expression in writing
  • Be capable of working independently as well as in a team
  • Show user skills in the tools used in the safety department & LuxairFINANCE
  • Be worthy of commanding respect among peers and management officials
  • Show strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of the data

The ideal candidate:

  • Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset
