As a Back of House (BOH) Specialist, you play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth, efficient operations behind the scenes. You will monitor and manage the BOH area and specific sales zones, driving operational excellence and supporting overall commercial success. Your attention to detail and leadership will set the standard for efficiency while enabling an exceptional customer experience on the sales floor.
Your Responsibilities as Back of House Manager
Shipment Management
- Oversee the flow of all shipments, promptly addressing discrepancies, shortages, or damages to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Organization & Safety
- Maintain a clean, organized BOH area that transitions seamlessly between seasons and complies with safety standards.
Inventory Control
- Perform box counts, validate against bills of lading, and report discrepancies immediately.
- Use the PIV report to manage inventory negatives and implement reduction plans.
Performance Standards
- Ensure the BOH team consistently meets PRE (Product Receiving Excellence) standards.
- Utilize the refill scorecard to drive continuous performance improvements.
Markdowns & Promotions
- Execute and complete markdowns and promotions accurately and on time.
Stock Replenishment
- Support the sales floor by ensuring timely product placement and restocking, maintaining optimal merchandise flow.
Procedure Compliance
- Accurately apply reason codes, complete mis-mates, and follow proper transfer and RTV procedures in line with company policies.
Your Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar operational role, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Demonstrated success in coaching, training, and developing team members.
- Strong brand knowledge and the ability to embody and represent the brand's values.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for efficiency and sales growth.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- If you do not hold the nationality of an EU member state, you must be in possession of a valid work permit.
