Bus Supervisor for the Steinsel/Walferdange new bus route.

Permanent role, Start on 19th January 2026

Part-Time 7.5 hours/week am / pm)

Job Purpose:

To supervise students during school buses travel to/from School, managing their safety, wellbeing and behaviour.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students on morning and afternoon school bus journeys, ensuring they board and disembark safely.
  • Liaise closely with the Reception Desk, bus drivers and academic staff, to ensure the students travel in the correct direction and are picked up by the authorised persons at bus stops.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with students of all ages.
  • Implement School's policies on board, such as behaviour policy, use of mobile phones, data protection, safeguarding, etc.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records of students on the bus and promptly report any changes or concerns to the Reception Desk.
  • Report behavioural, safety or operational issues to the appropriate staff member.
  • Act as a responsible adult representative of the School throughout the journey.
