About the Role:
For our HQ, we are seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and analytical individual for our role of Manager Transversal Insights within the Consumer and Shopper Understanding (CSU) team for Area Europe.This role involves managing a team of one Transversal Insight Specialist and reports directly to the Head of CSU Area Europe.
Main Responsibilities:You will be primarily responsible for providing Strategic Analysis to Support Decision Making for Area Europe across all categories. This means you will provide data-backed strategic insights to drive the consumer and shopper agenda for Europe and actively support Head of Marketing Area (HAM) Europe Manager business reviews, particularly on brand health updates and business insight-driven deep dives.
As the primary contact for all transversal insights and advanced analysis requests from the HAM office, you will coordinate regional strategic analyses to ensure best-in-class delivery to the HAM team, scouting opportunities for successful analytical initiatives identified in regions for possible Area rollouts. Your role also involves supporting Area Europe strategic creative briefing, and leveraging societal and category trends to inform strategic planning and innovation.
You will lead cross-category and cross-country workstreams, such as innovation learnings, digital learnings, new channels, power-branding, influencer marketing, competitive intelligence, and portfolio management.
Along the year, you will identify growth opportunities and white spaces across categories, generations, shopper missions, and consumer occasions. You will support and guide Media Guidelines leveraging tools like MMM and brand tracking, actively supporting Europe media teams. Identifying knowledge gaps and activate necessary projects will also be part of the role.
You will coordinate Performance Measurement & Dashboarding, which involves developing and automating dashboards and performance tracking tools (such as Above The Line/Below The Line effectiveness, media integration, Retail Panel audits, MMM, and competitive alerts).
Finally, you will drive Digital Insights and Data Governance by leading and developing digital insights capabilities (including social listening, Google Trends, and influencer analysis), leveraging group and regional best practices, and supporting the governance of data assets, including scope, costs, and usage, while liaising with local geographies.
About You:We are looking for a highly capable individual with an academic background—ideally a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field, with an advanced degree considered a plus.
You should possess a minimum of 10+ years of proven experience in consumer insights and data analytics, demonstrating proficiency in data analytics tools and strong quantitative analysis skills, with qualitative experience being highly valued.
Your excellent communication and presentation skills will allow you to convey complex insights clearly to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders. Strategic thinking and problem-solving approaches to drive business impact are needed for this role, and strong project management skills will also be essential for your missions.

Managerial experience is considered a significant asset, given the supervisory responsibilities for the Transversal Insight Specialist.
