Why This Internship Is Valuable 

This internship presents a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in bank management within a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will be a key player in supporting the Bank Management team in building and maintaining an optimized bank account structure for Blackstone projects to support cash flow and operational efficiency. You will leverage our Treasury Management System – WallStreet Suite and will require active collaboration across the organization, understanding our business patterns and bank management needs, making you an indispensable link in the operational chain.

• Account Opening:
• •  Assist in the process of opening new bank accounts for business needs, new investment structures, incorporations, shelf companies, and refinancing
• Account Closing: 
• • Support the closing of bank accounts related to the disposal of assets and liquidation
• Bank Mandate/Access Management: 
• • Help manage bank mandates and access for project onboarding, financial advisors, disposals, and power of attorneys
• Ad Hoc Requests: 
• • Handle ad hoc requests such as audit/bank statement requests, activation of services for service providers, administrative activities (wet ink signing, received mail), and maintaining legacy systems
• Collaboration: 
• • Interact with KYC, Legal and Compliance, Corporate Officers, Acquisition, BX, Portfolio Accountants, Portfolio Companies/Service Providers (etc)
• Projects: 
• • Assist in ongoing projects such as the bank account opening request questionnaire, decision tree for bank assessment, IBAM functionality, regular review of bank accounts, and account opening/closing tracker improvements

What You Bring To The Role

• Currently in the final year of studies, pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong interest in bank management and treasury operations.
• Fluent in English, any other language will be an advantage 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow up actively
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
