Senior Compliance Officer

We are currently looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to support our growing operations in the Regulatory Compliance department.

Job Specification

• Own the Compliance Monitoring plan and perform control missions accordingly.
• Perform impact assessments of upcoming regulatory requirements for FRMC, its clients and the Apex Group.
• Proactively identify, analyse and report compliance risks.
• Assess the regulatory implications of new product launches and service extensions.
• Be at the centre of interactions with our regulatory environment; Along with the Conducting Officer in charge of Compliance, be the direct contact point for the regulators (CSSF, FIU, CBI, etc.), maintaining an open and positive working relationship with the authorities.
• Drafting and review of in-house Compliance procedures.
• Provide Compliance advice to other departments and where relevant other Apex Group companies.

Skills Required

• University degree in Law, Economics or comparable professional education in relevant fields.
• Professional experience of minimum 9 years in the field of Regulatory Compliance in Luxembourg, preferably regarding investment funds and management companies/ AIFMs.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations in a confidential and professional manner.
• Excellent knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory framework including Management Companies, Delegation Oversight, UCITS and AIFMD
• Self-organized and able to work accurately.
• Proactive and team oriented.
• Experience in team management is beneficial.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluent in English, any other language is considered an asset.
