Job Description

Granday Recruitment Associates is currently working for a high level audit firm located in Luxembourg-city in the Cloche d'Or area. Due to the increase of its activity and a massive growth, they are looking to hire a new Compliance Junior Officer :



Compliance Junior Officer Key responsibilities:

  • Drafting and follow-up of AML compliance requests for the clients of the firm;
  • Preparation of AML reports for AIFM's in accordance with the circular 21/788;
  • Maintenance of our AML internal procedures;
  • Identification with verification and screenings;
  • Database inputs and filings: Identification, comparison, and resolution of data quality problems;
  • Preparation of checklists and risk assessments;
  • Transaction monitoring review, including identification with verification and screening of counterparties;
  • Periodic screenings monitoring and risk assessments;
  • Preparation of Internal/external reporting;
  • Preparation of Suspicious Activity/Transaction Reports.

Compliance Junior Officer Minimum profile requirements

  • Minimum 6 months experience in the field : You are required to have at least a first experience in a similar position via an internship or a permanent contract;
  • You know the regulation applicable in Luxembourg, the duties of the compliance officer and you already have an understanding of the concepts relating to AML;
  • Degree in Corporate Law or similar;
  • Acting as a team member with flexibility and a proactive "can-do" attitude;
  • Outstanding attention to details;
  • Willingness to learn;
  • Client-oriented and problem solver;
  • Good knowledge of local AML laws and regulations would be considered an asset;
  • Good knowledge of standard computer tools (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Good organisational skills, ability to work under pressure and set priorities;
  • Fluency in French and proficiency in English, both written and oral.
