KYC Officer Trainee mission : 
 
As a KYC Officer Trainee, you will assist the Compliance team in the verification and management of client files. This role offers the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of anti-money laundering (AML) and compliance practices, helping you to build a career in financial services or compliance.
Under the supervision of experienced professionals, you will be involved in the following tasks:
  • Collect and verify KYC documents for new and existing clients during periodic reviews;
  • Conduct research on clients, counterparties, and beneficial owners through external databases;
  • Participate in the updating and maintenance of client files, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations;
  • Identify and analyze client-related risks, particularly in connection with high-risk countries or complex structures;
  • Assist the team in implementing internal procedures related to anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CFT);
  • Collaborate with other departments (External audit, Internal audit,etc.) to respond to internal inquiries regarding clients and counterparties;
  • Maintaining the clients/UBOs database and in the electronic document management system.
KYC Officer Trainee profile: 
  • Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in law, Compliance, or a related field;-
  • Proficiency in English, French is mandatory;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling;
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines;
  • Knowledge of KYC, AML, and regulatory frameworks is a plus (but not required);
  • Proficiency in handling and processing legal documents;
  • Strong organizational and solution orientation skillset;
  • Dynamic person and a team player;
  • A proactive and willing attitude to learn.
