Quality Control Manager

Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is looking for a Quality Control manager. The QC Manager will be responsible for leading and developing our quality team in Luxembourg. In this role you will be provided with opportunities to work on quality work development, drive our culture and lead transformation initiatives.

Our equipment group business is supplying components for applications in various markets with a focus on the refining and petrochemical Industry. The range of products includes burners, flares, thermal oxidizers, boiler burners, and vapor recovery systems for John Zink Hamworthy Combustion entity. The open position will be located in our KES office located in Dudelange, GD of Luxembourg.

What You Will Do

• Being responsible for developing/supporting/following up the team to optimize value creation and spreading the KES vision
• Ensuring project quality is meeting the expected standards / customer needs in a timely manner
• Keeping track and looking for improvement of our processes
• Being responsible to coordinate efficiently the need of inspection as well as maintaining quality related records
• Being the owner of the quality related results for the company in order to maintain our various certifications (ISO, PED, ATEX,….) and leading successfully our various internal/external audits
• Being the preferred contact person for all quality related topics
• Ensuring quality control is performed as per expectation including inspection and documentation for in-house or external manufacturing
• Promoting knowledge sharing, lesson learned process within KES entities

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Successful experience in managing a Quality Department.
• Knowledge of international Code such as ASME and PED.
• Good knowledge of material types, welding methods and manufacturing processes
• Excellent organisational skills
• Fluent both in English and French. Any additional languages would be an asset.
• Experience in piping, pressure vessels, steel structure and skid fabrication

What Will Put You Ahead

• Former experience in oil and gas industry
• Excellent influencer and communicator, with a high level of competence in people management, problem solving and leadership.
• Result oriented mindset
• Holding some quality related certification (penetrant testing PT2 or PT3, ISO auditor, welding engineer IWE)
