Key job responsibilities
• Improve the global workplace health and safety compliance and recordkeeping program.
• Implement comprehensive recordkeeping strategies across global operations.
• Develop and integrate streamlined processes for regulatory compliance.
• Establish and maintain policies and procedures aligned with government and industry standards.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify compliance risks and implement preventative measures.
• Oversee the review of business documentation and systems for regulatory compliance.
• Create roadmaps for implementation and brief various teams on requirements.
• Collect and analyse data to drive decisions and provide business insights.
• Run meetings with partner teams to track progress, implement new initiatives, and improve existing processes.
• Draft procedures and policies to ensure internal and external compliance.
• Use data to understand operational challenges and create continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with a variety of other Amazon departments to identify and leverage best practices.
A day in the life
As a WHS Recordkeeping Case Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving our global reporting and recording processes. You'll work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to understand how they work, and what you and your teams can learn, as well as sharing your own expertise. Together, you'll identify exciting new opportunities and will take the lead when it comes to implementation.
You'll work both independently and collaboratively on initatives and create standard work, which may be at different stages of the project lifecycle, from development to delivery. You will collaborate with other teams, track progress, and share updates with key stakeholders.
Amazon is a data-driven business, part of your role will involve gathering insights to make decisions. You'll trial different ideas, analyze data to identify potential challenges, and present your findings to senior teams.
- Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent
- Experience handling confidential information
- Experience with regulatory filings and reports or equivalent
- A Bachelor degree or equivalent level of qualification in line with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF)
- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials
- Experience in program requirements definition, together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements
- Advance or masters degree
