Mission.
  • Calculate and reconcile NAV for PE and RE funds, ensuring accurate valuation of illiquid assets, capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly NAV reviews, validating fair value adjustments, waterfall calculations, and investment valuations in line with PE/RE industry standards.
  • Assist in training and supporting new fund accountants, providing hands-on guidance on PE/RE fund structures, capital activity, and accounting processes.
  • Conduct daily and monthly reconciliations of cash, capital accounts, and investments, working closely with custodians, administrators, and auditors to resolve discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve complex accounting issues, including carried interest calculations, management fees, and fund expenses, preparing detailed explanations and recommendations.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting support, preparing capital statements, investor reports, and fund performance metrics tailored to PE/RE funds.
  • Monitor and manage reporting deadlines, ensuring timely completion of financial statements.
  • Examine and validate financial statements for Private Equity and Real Estate funds, ensuring adherence to IFRS, US GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors, providing comprehensive documentation, reconciliations, and supporting analyses to facilitate a smooth audit process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams involved in NAV reviews, including fund administration, tax, investment teams.
Required profile.
  • Extensive experience in fund accounting and finance, specializing in Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), especially on Private Equity and Real Estate structures.
  • Comprehensive understanding of AIF operations, including closed-ended and open-ended fund structures, regulatory requirements, and reporting standards.
  • Expertise in Lux GAAP and IFRS, with a solid grasp of PE/RE-specific accounting treatments (knowledge of additional GAAPs is beneficial).
  • Highly analytical and well-organized, capable of managing complex fund structures, reconciliations, and financial reporting with precision.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, with hands-on experience in industry tools such as eFront, Investran, Geneva, Multifonds, or GP3-GP4 being a strong advantage.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented self-starter, able to work independently while fostering collaboration within cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in French and English, with additional language skills considered an asset.
