Senior Data Scientist

Your next challenge:

The Senior Data Scientist will utilize advanced analytical techniques and data-driven methodologies to enhance credit reporting processes and improve risk assessment frameworks.

This position will focus on developing models and insights that support the bank's credit risk management strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main duties:

• Reporting and Visualization:

• Develop dashboards and visualization tools to monitor the credit portfolio and communicate key findings and insights to stakeholders.

• Prepare and present analytical reports to senior management and other relevant parties.

• Credit Reporting & Monitoring:

• Collaborate with credit risk analysts to enhance credit reporting processes and ensure accuracy and reliability of data.

• Prepare and maintain reports for credit portfolio monitoring, highlighting key risk factors and trends.
• Perform detailed data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy
• Develop and maintain credit scoring models and other relevant risk assessment tools.

• Calculation and follow-up of some risk indicators

• Data Analysis and Modeling:

• Design, develop, and implement predictive models to assess credit risk and improve credit reporting outcomes.

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies related to credit risk.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including risk management, finance, and IT, to integrate data science solutions into existing workflows.

• Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable insights.
• Prepare & coordinate action plans to solve regulatory bodies recommendations

• Data Governance:

• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data governance practices.

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to design and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure for credit risk analytics.
• Reviewing policies and procedures

Your skills:

• Education: Master's degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or credit risk management, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Technical Skills:
